| The CERN Golf Club was founded by constitutional assembly in October 1982. The C.G.C is a CERN Staff Association club society and is competition oriented. In 1991 the CERN Golf Club became an affiliated Corporate Association with the French Golf Federation (FFG), in the Rhone-Alpes League. |
The CGC can offer golfers:- Organised stableford competitions held at local courses throughout the year.
- An annual matchplay knockout competition.
- Organised team events representing CERN in the Rhône-Alpes League.
- Lessons for beginners organised at one of the local courses.
